Main Office
The Main Office, also known as the Thompson House, serves as the office of the Evansville Historical Foundation and Mound Grove Cemetery Association. It also houses the research library for those interested in genealogy or historical research of the Evansville area.
This house was built by Wilhelm Thompson in 1882. Alf Thompson is Wilhelm’s son and was born in this house. Throughout the years, ten families have lived here. Mr. Thompson purchased the house for historical purposes in 1984.
In 2021 Evansville Historical Foundation celebrated its 30th Anniversary.
