Church House

Also known as Johnson House. Exhibits include church artifacts, literature, and information on the history of area churches.

This house was built around 1897 by Swedish immigrant, Peter J. Johnson who was married to Johanna Carlson. Peter and Johanna had four children. Their youngest, John T. Johnson, lived in this house until his death in 1983. John served as City Clerk of Evansville for 24 years.
